Can the EcoFlow River 2 Max Run a Space Heater on Low (750W)?
Updated 2026-10-17 · No
No. A space heater on low (750W) draws about 750W, more than the EcoFlow River 2 Max’s 500W continuous AC output. The inverter will overload and shut off as soon as it switches on.

Recharging with solar
The EcoFlow River 2 Max accepts up to 220W of solar input. In real conditions that harvests about 825Wh on a sunny day (5 peak-sun hours), or about 750Wh with one 200W panel.
Tips
- Running a heater on its 750W setting halves the draw. A thermostat that cycles the heater will stretch it further.
- The EcoFlow River 2 Max uses LiFePO4 (LFP) cells, rated for thousands of cycles, so running it down daily won’t wear it out quickly.
